Something Crawled Into My Car And Just DIED… Thanks SMALL CHILDREN.
Another fun thing about having boys – THE SMELLS.
I could address this in so many ways but I instead choose to spare you and focus this post on MY CAR. Yes. My car.
I don’t know what they did. I don’t know how they did it. But I promise you that somehow in the past week my children have contaminated my car with something that can only be described as PUNGENT DEATH.
My car is contaminated.
Friends… I have stripped it down.
I have sprayed girly perfume in there.
I have utilized my super-mother-sense-of-smell to try to find the offensive odor.
I have removed every single trace of child from my car and still I cannot find the source of PUNGENT DEATH.
If I wasn’t so angry about it I would be impressed by their skills. But I am NOT impressed. Instead I am constantly worried that the filthy reeking smell from my car will rub off on me and create a new Jen-aroma that will be so memorable that I will never again find close companionship.
One day I will look back on this and laugh. Today is not that day.

This has happened to me before too. Febreeze and lysol in every little spot. A tile scrubber is your friend too. You have to kill the bacteria or whatever is growing in there that is making the smell. Covering it never worked for me.
Good luck!
You need to check under the hood and make sure it was indeed your boys and not some small creature that crawled in your engine space to get warm.
Good luck with that!

It’s probably spilled milk product… or I’ve had those reusable “go green” grocery bags that had a major stink from meat leakage or something. It took me forever to figure out that mystery in my living room closet! Put a box of baking soda in your car, please open it first Jenny, and it will take that odor away! Love ya! Belin
ps- a little tip (because I know you’ll need it) don’t reuse the baking soda honey, just throw it out….
I have no children but I cracked up when I read this. I can just imagine the worst of it and you trying everything to no avail to get rid of it. Ugh. Thanks for sharing it!
