Oh, yes, HE DID
I really thought I was past this point. Totally in the clear. Make it through-the-rain, so to speak. The Jedi is 8 1/2. Way past the stupid scissor shenanigan stage.
Or so I thought.
I walked into the bathroom last night and found THIS on the floor:
Ninja has brown hair. I knew immediately who was guilty. So I screamed uncontrollably from the other room asked him to come in so I could inspect the damage.
Wow.
HE. CUT. HIS. OWN. BANGS.
Oh, yes. He DID. They are…. very, very short. (Obviously.)
He cut his own hair right before our once in a lifetime Disney trip. You know, the one where we will probably take 700 + pictures? Nice timing, dude.
So I have to take him to the hairdresser tonight and beg her to undo the damage. I really thought I was past all this.

OH NO – of course it’s right before the big Disney trip!!!! The only thing close to that I had – my then 6 year old son, in children’s church on Easter Sunday morning took a pair of scissors and cut a nice big hole in his brand new Easter dress shirt. I can only laugh now! At least, the shirt we could change, but hair — UGH! One day you will look back and laugh:-)

Two of my 3 kids have done the cut your own or sisters hair nonsense. The last time the cutter was 5.

Hey! My son, Sean, HAD to have his head shaved for the last day of school. Guess what! Hair Cuttery said they CAN’T shave heads…
sooooo, good ‘ole’ Mom shaves “THE BOY’S” head in the WALMART parking lot…

PS — Sean’s hair has grown out nicely since to a “normal” boy’s cut. Of course, NOW, he says, NO hair cuts for the rest of the school year…

Oh no!! My daughter cut her hair when she was four and it was impossible to fix without shaving it off. So she had a mullet in preschool. Nice.
As for boys, I love to keep my boys hair short!
