Announcing… Momz Share! A New Series Of Quarterly Networking Events For DC Metro Area Mom Bloggers…

I love blogging. I truly do. I love the community. I love the creative outlet and I especially love the amazing women with whom I share the Internet.
You know what I DON’T love? The fact that I never get to meet them in person. And on the rare occasion that I have had the opportunity to spend time with my peers I have found that it is never, ever enough time. FRUSTRATING!
So what is a girl to do when she has a need? Well, this girl figures out a way to make it happen.
And VOILA… Momz Share is born!
The idea? A series of events, held quarterly and hosted by a different, fabulous D.C. Metro Region blogger! One part girl’s night out and one part networking. What could be cooler?
The ultimate goal is to provide real life opportunities for moms who have a passion for blogging to connect, build relationships, learn, share information and form strong personal networks.
The first event will be held in my home in Maryland on March 13th from 5:00pm until…whenever!
The topic? Generating BUZZ and forming relationships ON and OFF line! (Appropriate, no?)
If you are a mom blogger in the DC Metro area and would like to be included in these events, you must REGISTER to RSVP and for more information and instructions. (NOTE: The registration is for this first event only. Registration will be required for each event. AS OF 2/25/10 we are accepting registrations via email only. Please email me directly at jlgerlock@comcast.net to get your name on the list. ) Space is limited. But the price – FREE!
What can you expect? A fab time! The evening will be a nice blend of real life socializing, social networking and topic chatter. Of course there will also be some fabulous door prizes as well.
Let’s form friendships, create partnerships and learn the blogging business from one another!
UPDATE: Momz Share has truly taken on a life of its own and is moving forward at a rapid speed! Thanks to a partnership with Sisarina, a website for the event is in development. Our DC Metro community has really come together and embraced the concept of Momz Share with open arms and we have BIG plans in store for its future! More information on this at the first event on March 13th!
There are Ketchum reps out of a DC office and they told me they would love to be involved with local events like this…let me know if you want their info or want me to contact them. Excited to meet you in person =)
