There are few things in this world that are as rewarding and rejuvenating as a good night’s sleep.

I know that when I don’t rest my body and my mind I am unable to fully concentrate on the tasks ahead of me, let alone the needs of my family. (And they have a lot of needs, believe me.)

I’ve mentioned before that my husband and I recently upgraded to a Sleep Number bed. I can honestly say that it has made a huge difference in the quality of our lives. And just when I didn’t think my slumber couldn’t get any better, I was offered the opportunity to try out Sleep Number’s AirFitTM Pillow.

At first I thought the pillow would miss the mark. It is incredibly firm which, quite frankly, is something I am not used to.  I confess that I spent two nights not enjoying it at all.

Once I started adjusting it though, I completely understood how unique and comfortable the pillow really is. I mean, who knew technology could improve even the simplest of things? (And who knew how simple minded I really was? I can’t believe I didn’t adjust it for two days!)

The idea behind it is to allow the user to to adjust the AirFitTM Pillow based on his or her sleeping position, size and shape. They have three options to choose from – CoolFit™ Foam, Memory Fiber and European White Goose Down. (I am sleeping on the Memory Fiber version.)

Here’s how it works – The AirFitTM Pillow changes  as your sleep needs change. The Memory Fiber surrounds the air chamber and continually adjusts to the movement of your head and neck to offer constant support. (The pillow self-inflates with a simple twist of a dial. Easy!) The Memory Fiber also provides air circulation to help prevent a build up of humidity and heat. The pillow has an extra-soft 300-thread-count and a 100% Egyptian cotton cover.

Not to sound too over-the-top about it but it has truly taken my rest to another level.

And now my husband is jealous.

And wants to steal it from me.

Sorry. Not even a chance, honey.
