The above photo  just punches you in the gut, doesn’t it?

“What the world needs is people who are ALIVE.”

I believe, that if we are painfully honest with ourselves, we can all admit to being guilty of merely “existing” at some point in our lives. We get by. We live from day to day and move from hour to hour all without really experiencing the exhilaration of truly living. Of truly being alive.

We get caught up in the administrative details of life.

Now, I certainly don’t profess to be an expert on living life to its fullest but I know that I have definitely been guilty of merely getting by from time to time. I mean, who hasn’t?

I’ve been thinking about this for a couple of weeks.

As cliche as this sounds, I’m at a point where I believe that if it isn’t worth enjoying, why do it? 75% of the people I interact with each and every day seem to be devoid of their smile.

They just can’t seem to find the inspiration in their every day life. And that is sad.

I know, I’ve been there.

I think we all need to lighten up, laugh harder and be more passionate about everything. And I mean… EVERYTHING. (Even laundry, by God!)

We should jump into puddles. We should belly laugh. We should find happiness and appreciation in the little things. (Even if it is something simple like eating chocolate cake…. we should eat it with verve! )

You getting me?

I’m committed to living a more enthusiastic and passionate life. How about you?

Now pass me some chocolate cake!
