For years I bought into the the belief that to be beautiful you had to be poised and demure and completely pulled together at all times.

That completely changed in my thirties. In my thirties I discovered what would be come my new definition of beautiful:

And being able to look at myself in the mirror and say, “Damn. I did that.”

What’s your definition of beautiful?

Under Armour Women has set out to redefine the female athlete by creating the What’s Beautiful campaign, a program that encourages women to share their fitness journeys and receive motivation, free gear, and support from Under Armour along the way.

Completely Badass. <— says me!

The Under Armour What’s Beautiful community is growing by the minute and the women in the challenge are seriously bringing it… all of it.

I encourage you to go to the site and check it out. Join in. Set your own goal. Crush it.  And the 10 women with the most epic journeys will win a trip to Florida to the Under Armour Women’s Camp Sweat where they will get to train with the best.

Every week Under Armour will be giving away Under Armour Swag Bags full of gear to women who are seriously bringing it. Around November 6th they will narrow it down to the top 20 finalists. Then, on or around November 27th, they will announce the 10 winning athletes who’ve documented the most impressive, motivated, monumental stories.

I, for one, can’t wait to see the results. And you’d better believe I am joining in. Because I believe that strong women are beautiful women.

Be fierce, ladies. Be beautiful.
