One of the best things about living in the Baltimore / DC Metro region is the opportunity to attend events with other bloggers situated in my immediate area. So much fun!

I recently was invited to attend a #GracoSafety Mom’s Night Out hosted by my pal Stephanie of A Belle Reve introducing us all to the Graco Snugride Click Connect 40, the newest car seat released by Graco.

Now, it has been a few *ahem* years since I’ve needed a car seat for my children. :) I can say in all honesty that when my boys were little, we chose Graco car seats to transport them safely. We trusted the brand and it came well recommended by friends and family alike.

That being said, I wasn’t prepared for all of the innovation in the Graco products since the time my boys were young. What a world of difference, people.

That night Stephanie demonstrated one of their newest offerings, the Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 – the first and only newborn to two-year infant car seat that actually grows with your baby from four pounds all the way to 40 pounds. Oh how I wish this sucker would have been around when I had my little ones.

Not only was it incredibly stylish but also quite innovative. What I was impressed with most was the 8-position adjustable base that grows with your child, providing leg room and a comfortable ride for up to 2 years old. Another really great feature? The adjustable base and harness.

So easy and so convenient!

Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 is a car seat is designed for a parent on the go. The infant car seat can be easily removed from the base and used as a carrier when the infant is small, providing portability and convenience so you can easily move your infant in and out of the car without disturbing them.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recently made the recommendation to keep all children in rear-facing car seats until the age of 2. Graco set out to make this product so parents can keep infants rear facing longer while still keeping them comfortable. The product retails for $219.99.
Disclosure: I received a Graco Snugride Click Connect 40 for attending and blogging about the #GracoSafety Mom’s Night Out.  All opinions expressed here are obviously my own. I will be donated the Snugride Click Connect to an emergency pregnancy program in my hometown.
