A Moment That Changed Your Life Forever – #vlogmoms
You know those moments? The moments that seem innocent enough at the time but end up making such a dramatic impact on you that they define you or your future?
Each day we have the power to change lives by things that we say and things that we do. Which, if you think about it, is incredibly powerful and also slightly frightening.
I’ve been thinking about those momentary encounters and how powerful they are after watching a TEDxToronto talk given by Drew Dudley. He calls them “lollipop moments.” (If you do nothing today, watch this video. It changed my perspective on how I interact with others.)
This week’s #vlogmom topic is about lollipop moments and how they have changed our lives forever.
“Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, it is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our lightness and not our darkness that frightens us. We need to get over our fear of how extraordinarily powerful we are in each other’s lives.” – Drew Dudley
Have you ever had a lollipop moment?

Awe, I’m such a sap. Love it. I had a lollipop moment involving a Florida State cheerleader who I thought was impossibly arrogant and bitchy… let’s just say I was dead wrong, and the exact opposite was true. Great topic, great post, great vid.

Sounds like you met the hubby at exactly the right time. What a simple thing to show your love–acceptance.

My husband has helped me in that same way! He says, “Do what makes you happy.” I have a quote on our bedroom wall by Elizabeth Barret Browning: “I love you not only for what you are but for what I am with you.”

Yay for Michael! The big question is, does he know this? have you shown him the vlog?
Love that he let you be you so you could realize who you are.
