This journey through life continues to amaze me. Just when I think I have it down, something shifts and I am left in awe of the road that lies ahead.

I think I’ve learned more about myself in the past 15 months than in the past five years combined.

Is it too hokey to declare that I have ‘evolved?’ (Maybe so but it is early and I’ve not even downed my first cup of coffee yet. Hokey is all I’ve got right now.)

And this blog, well, it will be evolving with me. It will always be a place for me to write and share my thoughts on the world but as my life changes, so do the topics I will cover.

My children are growing quickly. So. Damn. Quickly. Gone are the days where I can write what I want with little concern. They, and their friends, are tech savvy and I need to respect my kiddo’s privacy. (Of course, now I can ‘motivate’ them by threatening to Instagram embarrassing pictures to the world. Score!)

My husband. Well, you probably don’t even think I have a husband, do you? He has always been fairly adamant about my being tight lipped when it comes to him. (But oh, the temptation is fierce!) So that subject is out unless I run it through the marital ‘editor’ first. (One time I wrote about him leaving his socks all over the house and he was none too happy. I don’t get it but then again, I’m an over-sharer.)

I’m still working on my editorial calendar going forward so I’m not entirely certain at the moment where I will be going with this space. What I do know is that I’ll still blog the things I love like running/fitness, technology, travel and all things related to being a working parent of tween/teens. Professionally, I work in the marketing, social media, journalism and advertising type fields so there will probably be a little bit of geeky love thrown that way as well.  And of course, I’ll wax poetic about whatever random thoughts I might be having.

Again, still working on that editorial calendar. I’ll keep you posted. BTW – I’m thinking of a rebrand as well. Because who DOESN’T love a new look now and again? I thought I’d give you a heads up on  that one, lest you get confused one day when visiting. (Reminds me of one of my favorite movie scenes.)

Thanks for sticking with me!
