And this week we are taking a gander into the life of Dumb Mom from Parenting by Dummies.  Now, I want to take this moment to set the record straight about this little lady… she is way smarter than she appears.

Savvy, even.

But I don’t think she wants anyone to know that so shhhhh…..  Keep it between the two of us, k?

Also, she lives near me.  Like, within 10 minutes.  Which is amazing.  Because I love to see her in real life.  Except for the fact that she is gorgeous.  Which makes me hate her at the same time.  Yeah, I’m such a woman like that.

It is time again to feature another blogger in the “Day In My-Not-So-Hip-Life” series!

This week’s blogger is Kim Prince from House of Prince. This lady has been blogging since 2004!  I think that we should all do some sort of virtual bow to her right now.  Commencing bow….

Her blog is chock full of goodies and her kids, well, they are a-dor-a-ble. Truly.  When you hop over there, be sure to check out this post on 10 Tips For Survival at BlogHer 2010.  Loved it!  This is my first year going so it was much needed, let me tell you!

Today’s “Day In My Not-So-Hip Life” is being done a little different: IN REAL TIME!

Why?  Because Kadi is unique like that!

I love this woman. She is such a fun, sassy, positive, girl-power type of digital mom.  Kadi Prescott is the creator of many, many wonderful blogs and social media initiatives. She has her own Mingle Media TV show called “Social Peephole” which is held weekly on Thursday evenings. And she has seven, yes, S E V E N  children. I know, I know. I don’t know how she does it either.

My only complaint about Ms. Kadi?  She is not making it to BlogHer this year.  So I guess we will just have to continue being cyber-pals for awhile.

So it goes without saying that she has a totally  hip life, right?  Don’t believe me?  Watch it unfold in real time here:

Woo hoo, it’s Friday!  Not only is it the best day of the week but also the day we profile another blogger in the series “A Day In My Not-So-Hip-Life.” (What is it all about?  Back story and the first post.)

Meet the lovely Lara of Chicken Nuggets of Wisdom.  Lara is my girl.  I whine to her. A lot.  I *may* talk to her more than I talk to my own husband.  The jury is still out on that.  She is a snarky wench who knows way to much about everything.  She is like my own private Google.

And, of course, she has a totally  hip life, just like the rest of us!  Here is her story:

I was inspired the other day to create a new weekly feature on the blog.

DRUMROLL, PLEASE: It is called “A Day In My Not-So-Hip-Life.”

THE INSPIRATION? Well, I was hanging out on the Get Hatched site when I noticed this featured called “A Day In The Life.” Which basically is a slideshow of photos and text chronicling one full day in the life of Teri Hatcher and her team at Get Hatched.   Being a voyeristic type of gal, I checked them all out.  What struck me while flipping through the photos was how different and way more glamorous Teri’s life was then the “normal mom blogger.”  Now, I don’t begrudge her that (She IS Hollywood) but, seriously it made me chuckle!  Err… makeup chair? Trailer on Wisteria Lane?  Hanging out with Miss Piggy? Hell, we do that all the time.

So I decided to start my own “day in the life” with bloggers.  I mean, our lives are WAY MORE FABULOUS, right?  She’s got nothing on us, yo.

So before we go any further, I ask you: Can you handle the fabulosity?
