Last night was “date night.”  My wonderful husband surprised me and whisked me away to enjoy some precious time away from the kiddos.

But something went horribly wrong. Instead of gazing into the eyes of the man I love, I spent most of the evening scrunched down in my seat peeking through my fingers. With him laughing at me.

That is just so wrong!

He took me to see Paranormal Activity last night.  Now, before you assume that he has not a romantic bone in his body, let me assure you… he is the most romantic man I know.  Prior to leaving for NYC (I’ll blog about that tomorrow.) I had been talking about wanting to see that movie.  I was all talking SMAK about how I don’t watch horror movies any more and how I wanted to see this one and yada yada yada.  Honestly, I never thought we would see it.  Because, of course, we have kids and it is TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE for them.

But being the great guy that he is… he arranged for a surprise date night with my brother and sister-in-law.

I’ll never talk SMAK again.

That movie freaked…me…out.

And my husband is now totally enjoying torturing me.  If I didn’t love him I would kill him.
